U.S. movie industry sued Filehoster Hotfile

The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has filed a copyright lawsuit against file-hosting service Hotfile. Accordingly, the company’s business model is based on the provision of online storage for illegally copied movies.

“In less than two years it has Hotfile among the top 100 most visited websites in the world managed” means that the part of the association. “This is the direct result of massive digital theft, the Hotfile favors.” Hotfile is operated by Anton Titov, who lives in Florida, which could not be reached for comment.
