The iPhone Dev Team has released just two days after publication of an adapted version of its IOS 4.3.3 jailbreak Pwnage Tool. It supports 4 and the iPhone 3G, iPod 4G and Touch 3G, 2G Apple TV and the first generation of the iPad – but not the second iPad
PwnageTool raises the factory limitations of the Apple devices to permanently and thus allows the installation of programs that have not been released by Apple. The software runs only on Mac OS X. For Windows, there is the tool redsn0w, which is also present in an updated version (0.96rc15). Apple’s set-top box can not unlock it though.
The same applies to the second iPad This is because, according to iPhone Dev Team, the jailbreak to install an Untethered bootrom or iBoot-level exploit or how limera1n SHAtter requires that the new Apple Tablet is not working so far. But we continue to work on a solution.
Users who have removed the SIM lock their device for lifting the provider binding with ultrasn0w points, the iPhone Dev team out expressly to renounce the use of redsn0w. You should by no means the official ipsw file can be restored in order to avoid an update of the baseband, otherwise they lose their Unlock forever. The area used for the jailbreak of 4.3.3 IOS vulnerability, incidentally, the German security expert Stefan Esser discovered.
