The Chinese technique Expreview
website has published an unofficial processor roadmap from Intel. Accordingly, in the fourth quarter of 2008, a total of three Nehalem Bloomfield CPUs with core and clock speeds from 2.66 to 3.2 GHz are launched.
The top model with 3.2 GHz will be offered according to the roadmap in the Extreme series, which is aimed specifically at gamers and technology enthusiasts. The other two versions with clock speeds of 2.92 and 2.66 GHz, Intel plans for a performance or mainstream class. Official designations for the Bloomfield processors does not contain the Intel schedule.
Prizes for the first Nehalem processors are also not yet known. However, it is anticipated that the clocked at 2.66 GHz Bloomfield CPU, which is shown in the roadmap, in addition to the Q9550 with Penryn core, is priced at its level. According to the current price list (PDF) of the Intel Q9550 is priced at the 1,000-piece $ 530.
