The “hundred-year event” of the total solar eclipse, which was still visible on parts of Germany, has been marred by sometimes literally, depending on where bad weather. In some areas of the umbra Heavy clouds prevented an unobstructed view of the sun completely hidden by the moon. In the Munich area were onlookers who wanted to watch the event in the open, drenched by rain. Observers in nearby Dachau, however, had a clear view.
Even without a direct view of the sun for the spectacle but gave impressive views of the horizon darkened for about two minutes. A selection of the best pictures that have taken the ZDNet webcam in Munich during all phases of the eclipse can be, viewed under a specially created photo album.
