Siemens and 3Com Network Administrators have planned their “voice-venture” dropped again. It reported the “Handelsblatt”.

In the joint venture should the Siemens’ Information and Communication Networks “and 3Com have an equal share. In the beginning it was planned to employ about 200 people in the U.S., Germany, Britain and Israel. Headquarters of the new company should be in the United States, either in Massachusetts or California have. The line would be divided equally between managers of Siemens and 3Com.
An existing strategic alliance between both companies “to create products for the integration of voice and data networks,” so-called convergence networks, stay on the task of “Voice-ventures” but untouched. The Handelsblatt gave financial reasons for the failure.
