It turns out that the armed forces of some countries have very progressive views on how to train their employees. Otherwise, how else can one explain the development of robotic segveev (segway), acting as “criminals” and “hostages” in the training of various power structures?
Australian company Marathon Robotics is working on just such a project. In the action, their system works very effectively – “Si terrorists” could move quickly through an area to drive into the house, go around each other very well and do not bump into to unexpected obstacles. Above all the “puppet” is the operator, his job is only in the laying of the original route on the map computer, after which it remains only to observe the work “segveev hostages” and their captors. On a simpler level robots themselves are able to find a way, even if conditions have changed in the – cameras and positioning systems to find ways to help segveyam adapt to change.
