QuickTime 4 supports both. gif and. jpg image and video formats AVI, DV, Macromedia Flash, Flash Pix, BMP, SGI, TIFF, Adobe Photoshop and some others. A browser plug-in ensures that videos are displayed immediately in the browser (Navigator, Explorer, AOL).
The “normal” version is free, “Quicktime 4 Pro”, however, costs $ 30. The company also announced that the beta version already has been more than five million times.
