The Dutch electronics company Philips has been showing recently on its German website of his concept of a Web tablets under the name “Detachable Monitor”. On the home page the user is welcome with the text: “Looking for some inspiration while working through a different environment and wished that you could take your computer Or you ever bothered the bulky monitor on your desk, not the kind of facility? fits, then wear the monitor but just in the next room! “
The PC user does not consider the more firmly on the desk. This allows the user to resolve the 25 millimeter flat monitor from the base station and work via wireless 802.11b Wireless Fidelity technology with computers and peripherals.
Philips promises the customer a freedom of movement of 100 meters to the PC. So shall the users wirelessly browse the Internet, work with office applications or listen to MP3 files.
