Mozilla has announced the development of a version of its mobile browser Fennec on Symbian OS. “To play a crucial role in smartphones, we need to be present on the Symbian platform,” said Christian Sejersen, development director for mobile applications with Mozilla.
According to Symbian Sejersen will support the porting Fennec on Symbian OS with developers. Even third-party software for Symbian have already expressed interest in the project.
