Microsoft has released an update for Windows Live Essentials 2011th It fixes several bugs and improves the performance of the software package, which consists of the applications Windows Live Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Messenger, Mail, the Live Mesh synchronization service, as well as the Family Safety and Parental Control software, the blog writer.
The update adds support for SSL-encrypted HTTP (HTTPS) in Mail and a new version of Windows Live Toolbar. In addition to mail, fixed a problem with the sorting of messages in the folder “Sent Items”. According to the Microsoft Messenger works now reliable and offers better voice and video quality.
The facial recognition is now more stable. The software vendor has in the new version of the photo gallery removed a total of several errors, including when the application starts the autoplay feature.

Besides Windows Live Essentials 2011, Microsoft has also updated the Outlook Connector for Hotmail. He now also encrypts all connections to the e-mail service using HTTPS. The SSL encryption is also available as an option for all accesses to Hotmail.com and Live.com, or Windows PC via phone and Nokia smartphone. They can be activated in the Windows Live account settings.
