The Munich-based company wants
Friendlyway claims to have developed the first talking shop shelf for the Grundig AG. The application should be seen already at the computer fair CeBIT (18 to 24.3. Hannover) for the first time and hear.
The rack will be equipped with the “Friend @ call” technology to provide an interactive, voice-driven customer service. A sensor will detect a potential customer, to stop the front of the shelf in order to see the exhibited products.
The prospective customer will then addressed by the interactive product shelf and asked to what goods he wants to learn more detail, explains Friendlyway. Should he have after the “debate” with the system any more questions, a telephone connection would automatically be built into a counseling center.
