Simultaneously with the start of their research collaboration from IBM and Samsung renew the joint process development agreement (JDA) for multiple nodes from 20-nanometer range. The aim is efficient, economical chip with 20 nanometers and below Menter arise. In addition, the companies, technologies for foundry customers provide. P>
“Joint Innovation is critical to the success, if the semiconductor industry, introduces new types of electronic equipment and new computer methods,” said Michael Cadigan, general manager, IBM Microelectronics. Precisely because of the collaboration with researchers from Samsung in the foundation ellen phases of the research process is important. P>
