Hewlett-Packard plans to divest its digital camera division. The computer manufacturer is currently investigating an OEM partner, the cameras in the HP license under the HP label designed developed and markets. Until it has found a partner, HP will sell the cameras on themselves, however. The Group expects that he can finish in the first half of 2008 a cooperation agreement.

The resources saved would be invested into the printer business, HP justified his change of strategy. The company plans to expand its Print 2.0 initiative, and thus further consolidate its leadership in consumer photo printers and online photo services.
