Enyo under the name of the SDK now includes a framework with which applications can be quickly and easily adapt to different screen sizes. Just as core components of WebOS Type, Synergy or Exhibition are now also available for the Tablet.

In addition, the new version features enhanced user interface, but also additional layouts. Specifically for the HP Tablet programming promises lots of examples, ranging from structuring an app to layout and navigation.

This summer, the iPad competitor with 9.7-inch display come on the market. The U.S. price is said to be $ 499 for the 16-gigabyte version. The more apps then there are, the easier it should start the fall.

WebOS will not remain a pure tablet or smartphone operating system – HP will install it on PCs and printers. The installed base increased substantially, but HP is the world leader in PCs.
