PayPal has a court in Santa Clara County, California, lawsuit (PDF) filed against Google. The search provider should have used techniques of eBay for his daughter presented yesterday NFC payment service “wallet”. The secret information allegedly came from Osama Bedier, vice president of payments at Google, who was replaced in January by PayPal to Google.
Bedier was at PayPal, according to the application as Vice President of Product Development instrumental in building a mobile payment platform. At Google, he is responsible for the introduction of point-of-sale retail technologies. “Google and Bedier have misused trade secrets by having them divided among other major retail chains,” goes on to say in the lawsuit.
PayPal also points out that Bedier 2008-2011 in negotiations with Google was involved, which had the objective to establish PayPal as a payment option in the Android Market. “Just at the point, as were the two companies before the completion of an Android-PayPal-business, Bedier has applied for a job at Google, PayPal without informed about the conflict of interest”, the eBay subsidiary.

“We take PayPal’s ‘secrets’ very seriously,” spokeswoman Amanda Pires said PayPal. “So we have taken this decision today. We have sued Google and former colleague of Osama Bedier and Stephanie Tilenius who work there now.”
