Google has announced the introduction of an age rating for the Android Market. You should be implemented in the coming weeks and apply to both new and existing apps.

According to Eric Chu, Android developers will be four categories: “All”, “Children,” “teenager” and “adult content”. Google had decided as a result of numerous requests from users to sort the applications by age group. “The new feature gives users additional information to help them to find the best apps for it,” Chu wrote on the Android Developers Blog.
