Google Chrome updated to version 11.0.696.68. The update, available for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux available, fixes two vulnerabilities. It also gives the browser from Adobe yesterday released version 10.3 of Flash Player.
The outgoing of the two vulnerabilities Google classifies risk as “high”. An attacker could exploit them to inject and execute malicious code within the sandbox of the browser or spy on confidential data. One of the bug is, according to the release notes in the browser engine Webkit, the other in the SVG filters. The finders of the security holes this time, Google has paid no premiums.
The integrated browser in the Adobe Flash Player 3.10 fixes according to eleven classified as critical security vulnerabilities. It is unclear whether the vulnerability is even lower, at odds over which Google currently with the French security company VUPEN.
A week ago had an update for Google Chrome released 11, but that no security holes stuffed.
