FTC takes action against kidnappers Site

The U.S. regulator Federal Trade Commission (FTC) wants to take action against “terrorists” of Web sites. This was announced by the authority in Washington.

Again and again, Internet users would be redirected against their will to porn sites. This practice encompasses “millions of legitimate Web sites and innocent Web surfers, including children,” says the FTC.

According to the FTC, the kidnappers would use the following tricks to make the user of search engines on their site to redirect: A Web site that innocuous words such as “children”, “message” or “Games” contains is duplicated. Which operated with an automated search engine registers the wrong site and then spits them out in the search for the appropriate terms.

With a command inserted into the site, the seeker will then be diverted to any other pages.

What the FTC wants to do exactly is still unclear and will be announced at a press conference.
