Since yesterday makes the rumor circulated that France Telecom would take over the telecommunications branch of the German Mannesmann group. Both companies wanted to express themselves but do not.

Shares of Mannesmann climbed after the advent of the rumor against the market trend by almost two percent to 162.50 euros.

In the past week, the France Telecom’s acquisition of the 17.24 percent stake from Vodafone Airtouch in E-Plus reported. The German market is lucrative for the French as the surgical field terminated, since the friendship has been with Deutsche Telekom. The partnership between the two ex-monopolist Deutsche Telekom broke on trial, to take over Telecom Italia, without consulting with their western neighbor.
