Due to decrease in production prices for DRAM-memory begins to grow. Already in March the price of 2-Gbit DDR3-chips could reach $ 3 mark. Mr. Sakamoto also

believes that soon the number of players in this industry will be reduced to three, and maybe even up to two, due to a wave of mergers and acquisitions of weak companies stronger competitors. He noted that to survive in the market, all producers should expand production of mobile DRAM-memory. Japanese plant in Hiroshima Elpida is almost completely shifted their production facilities to produce Mobile DRAM.
