In comparison, Germany is the EU together with Slovakia in seventh place. The average of the EU-27 is at 26 percent according to Eurostat. At the top of the podium is Sweden where only 7 percent of the population have never been online. Second place shared by Luxembourg and the Netherlands with 8 percent. In Austria have 23 percent of the 16 – to 74-year-olds used the Internet yet. Laggards are Portugal (46 percent), Bulgaria (51 percent), Greece (52 percent) and Romania (57 percent). P>
