In the UK, developed a prototype software that allows you to use a mobile phone equipped with a camera in a 3D-manipulator. Through the program, you can move windows and icons on the screen, as well as perform other actions by simply moving the phone in the air in front of the screen.
to control the user’s screen is enough to send him on a mobile phone camera, after which the device connects to the computer that controls the screen, via Bluetooth. Once the connection is established, the computer determines the position of camera phone, and all actions which are carried out with the user, including rotation, moving, clicking on the button, transferred to the screen and transformed into cursor movements and actions.
During the testing program a few volunteers were asked to resize the image on the screen. They made an image using a button on a telephone keypad, changed its position by moving and rotating the device, and then increase the image by moving the camera phone closer to the screen. In addition, the testers have successfully made a sketch of the house, using their phones.
