Apple currently uses CPU based on ARM architecture in several devices such as iPhone and iPad and is ARM’s most important client. The iPad used in the A4 is the first chip that Apple marketed under its own name. He was probably developed by P.A. Semi, a chip manufacturer, Apple had bought in 2008. P>
Through the acquisition of ARM, Apple could improve its position against competitors significantly reducing competition by excluding the highly sought-ARM designs or innovations deliver late.
