The app integrates all known functions: it displays the works and also gives access to Amazon’s digital book store, the Kindle store. It also synchronizes notes, highlighting and bookmarks across platform boundaries. Means users can switch from one reader to another, without that personal settings are lost. P> p>
The version for Windows Mobile 7 will be the first according to Amazon, which also integrates new features. For example, users will in future receive personalized book recommendations on your home screen and can in turn send their suggestions from friends Kindle library without leaving the app. P>
To date, few devices with Microsoft’s recently introduced mobile operating system on the market. Amazon apparently wants to ensure, however, as to his first e-book dealer in business if this will change. “We have Windows Mobile 7 in such a way that services and content from Microsoft and third party brings together – in a way that seamlessly integrates the things that users are most important: movies, books, shopping,” said Achim Berg, Corporate Vice President for Microsoft’s mobile communications business at the launch of the app on his company’s annual Professional Developers Conference.
